About the event
The Japanese taiko has developed into a musical instrument spread all over the world in the last few decades. There are now countless Taiko groups, in Germany alone there are over 30 groups! The Taiko Duo brings together players from a wide variety of groups and presents songs by 14 internationally active composers. Among others, Omiyage by Shoji Kameda (USA/JAPAN), Mozamjam by Martin Doyle (SCOTLAND) and Yakudo by Monika Baumgartl (GERMANY). An evening of energy from heart to heart.
